Jirka Väätäinen is a graphic design student at the Arts University College at Bournemouth in the UK, used photo manipulation to bring Disney characters “to life” The images were created by combining elements from different photos of women who resemble the characters and creating composite images in Photoshop.

Colin Boyd Shafer is a Canadian Teacher, Photographer, and Writer living in Malaysia, During his recent visit to Melbourne, Australia he traveled to the sometimes quirky and colourful Brunswick St in Fitzroy.

LRG have just droped their lookbook for Spring 2012. Inspired by the words ‘explore more’, highlighting their daily pursuit of exploration by using “Hangover House” as a backdrop to the lookbook. A historic structure known for being way ahead of its time, it was built in 1938 by William Alexander, and commissioned by explorer-writer Richard Halliburton to be an inspirational reminder to think outside.

The collection itself consists of  90s inspired nautical wear, denim jackets, plaid shirts, hoodies, striped crewnecks, graphic tees, and plenty more.

Slated for a Sundance 2012 debut, I Am Not A Hipster is a drama about a singer-songwriter uncomfortable with the trappings of success in the indie rock scene he presides over in San Diego.

It’s also a story about loss and coping with death. But most of all, it’s about music. I Am Not a Hipster features original music from musician Joel P. West and many of those songs are performed by star Dominic Bogart, who plays Brook, the troubled singer-songwriter.

The music in the film is evocative of such acts as Bright Eyes and the late Elliott Smith, and the film is reminiscent of the 2007 Sundance hit and best song Oscar winner Once in that it features original music from cast members.I Am Not a Hipster follows Brook as he is visited by his estranged father and three sisters to scatter the ashes of their late mother.

Terry Richardson has recently caught up with Josh, Lucas, Tyler, Taco, Jasper and Lionel from OFWGKTA for his latest shoot. The purpose of the which is still unknown, but who cares because your looking at it now!

 Artist Alex Pardee recently created a new series of artwork, entitled Icans, which re-imagines some of pop culture’s most iconic characters.

“Why am I calling them “Icans”? Glad you didn’t really ask, but I’m telling you anyway. Well, because whether SOPA passes or not, I will continue to take any licensed character, or pop culture icon and do whatever I want with it for art’s sake, because ICAN. Also, I just want to conduct an ongoing experiment to see if ICAN take any cool icon from pop culture and make it way shittier by “re-imagining” it. So far, much like Hollywood does most of the time, the experiment is a super fun success!”
